Hello, I'm Cat. I offer person-centred counselling services online or over the phone. The work we do will vary according to your needs.
About me and my practice
Within my counselling practice, I offer a warm, confidential and affirming approach that welcomes individuals of all ages, genders, sexualities, races, and backgrounds. I am committed to providing compassionate trauma informed care. Therapy is about the client so we will collaborate to understand your issues from multiple dimensions and work through them with a pathway of stabilization, processing and the integration of new tools and concepts.
As a fully qualified counsellor I am confident to work effectively with a wide spectrum of situations, problems or issues.
My journey into counselling was inspired by my own experience as a client, so I understand the apprehension that can come with seeking support. Central to my approach is the cultivation of a meaningful relationship between us. I believe we as human beings thrive when we feel understood and connected to. Through this relationship we can unfold and explore our full potential and areas we might not yet have shared with others.
If you're contemplating whether I am the right counsellor for you, please reach out. I will be keen to respond promptly and we can explore your needs and perhaps embark on this journey together. All communication is treated confidentially. Thank you :)
